Incident Information Applications

AWSR

The Annual Wildfire Summary Report application (AWSR) enables State Foresters to electronically maintain the required data on the Annual Wildfire Summary Report (FS-3100-8 form). The data is stored in an Oracle database that resides on an AIX database server at the National Interagency Technology Center (NITC).

eISuite

e-ISuite is the next generation version of I-Suite and when fully implemented will replace the current I-Suite Application. The e-ISuite system is a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) enabled I-Suite application for use at the Incident Command Post (ICP) and in agency offices to manage emergency incidents and planned events. The use of e-ISuite at the ICP will be very similar to the current I-Suite application. e-ISuite used in agency offices will bring most of the current I-Suite capabilities to a person connected to the agency network via a web browser. At that level, it can be used for activities such as initial attack (IA), Type 3, 4 and 5 incidents, ABCD Miscellaneous fires and generating invoices for casual hires supporting activities like training, dispatch, and cache work. e-ISuite software will not need to be installed on the user s computer. No software licenses are required to use e-ISuite. A web browser is all each user will need to run the application.

EGP

Fire Enterprise Geospatial Portal (EGP) is the authoritative source of standardized geospatial information for the full range of wildfire activities ranging from response to planning.

Fire EGP leverages a central source of spatial data for mapping, decision support, business intelligence, and situational awareness through multiple tools to view and analyze wildand fire data: the Fire Globe, SituationAnalyst, the Incident Risk Console (RisC), and a GIS data repository.

FAMWeb Data Warehouse

The FAMWEB Data Warehouse (FDW) supports the basic goal of providing more efficient and cost effective fire suppression supporting research efforts and prescribed fire programs that rely on the ability to analyze current, historical, and other related fire data. The FDW provides users with a Web interface to flexible reporting tools integrating data from a variety of fire and weather databases. The FDW integrates fire and weather related data from the Fire Statistics (FIRESTAT) system, Weather Information Management System (WIMS), National Interagency Situation Report (SIT/209), and Annual Wildfire Summary Report (AWSR). In the future, a variety of other related data will be added. Information resources within the warehouse are accessed through a web-based interface allowing users, based on security roles, to view and print standard reports, create their own queries and reports, and conduct advanced analysis.

FireStat

The Fire Statistics System (FIRESTAT) is the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service application used to electronically enter information for the Individual Wildland Fire Report (Form FS-5100-29) and store it in the application on the National Fire and Aviation Management Web (FAMWEB) Database, housed at the National Information Technology Center (NITC) in Kansas City, Missouri. FIRESTAT is used to enter, update, and delete the required data on the Individual Wildland Fire Report.

SIT-209

SIT/209 is used to collect intelligence information related to the wildland fire management incidents and resources. SIT collects daily fire activity and initial/extended attack resource information during the active fire season for the local dispatch office. 209 is used to collect and store ICS-209 large Incident Summary information. This intelligence information is used to support the decision making process related to wildland fire resource placement and use.

WFMI

The Wildland Fire Management Information (WFMI) web-site is designed to support wildland fire organizations by providing current weather and lightning data, as well as historic fire occurrence data. In addition, the NWCG unit identifiers are maintained on WFMI
