Accounts/Password

Accessing ROSS Production and Practice requires a NAP (NESS (National Enterprise Support Service) Application Portal) account.

The NAP is used to manage user application account information. Once a user account exists in NAP, local account managers can add it to one or more Dispatch Centers in ROSS.

Requesting a NAP Account:

For step-by step instructions on requesting a new account, see the Quick Reference Card Requesting a NAP User Account.

Rules of Behavior:

First time NAP users will be prompted to and must accept the Rules of Behavior to access NAP and ROSS.

NAP Password Policy:

Due to Agency security requirements, the current NAP password expiration timeframes will change overnight on June 21, 2018. No outage will occur with this change.

NAP PASSWORDS for Standard accounts will now expire in 60 days, this is a change from the previous 90 day requirement. If you have not changed your password within the last 60 days, you will be prompted to do so upon the first login to the authenticated application. Users will continue to receive password reset reminders at 10, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 day(s) prior to expiration.

Applications that authenticate via the NAP are: WIMS, ROSS (Web Status and DDS), FTP, e-ISuite, Inciweb, F&AM Web Master and ICBS. If you need assistance, please contact the IIA Help Desk at https://iia-hd.peckham-enclave.us/
